Lee Min-ho has had plastic surgery?

Did (Boys Before Flowers) star Lee Min-ho (22) go for plastic surgery? But why? Isn’t he perfect already?

Today on Starnews Korea, a picture showing Lee with two plastic surgeons surfaced on the Internet. Why was he at the clinic? What did he get done?

Speculations point to Lee Min-ho’s nose. Well, if you’ve been one (like me) who has admired his high straight perfect nose, it might not be all genes. He might have had some help from the very skillful Korean plastic surgeons. Self appointed detectives revealed that Min-ho had his nose done on 17th December, 2007.

In a recent talk show program featuring celebrities BEFORE and AFTER surgery, a surgeon remarked that it is possible Min-ho went to correct a small bump in his nose.

But in a recent interview, Lee Min-ho mentioned that he has not done any plastic surgery and is in fact 100% natural.

Boys Over Flowers: back to filming” Thoughts on Goo Hye Sun’s return to the set

Goo Hye Sun returns to the set of “Boys Over Flowers” on the 5th. After her discharge on the 2nd, she shot one scene for episode 17, and then has been resting due to complications caused by her injury.

She returned to filming on the 5th. The swelling in her face is almost completely gone and her pronunciation has improved compared to before. The only problem that remains is that her injury has not yet healed, and her stitches are scheduled to be taken out tonight. Despite the hospital’s advice to have it taken out on the 7th, they could not keep Goo Hye Sun away from the set any longer.

A representative stated over the phone, “This is the first real filming we had since last week. She’s not 100% well yet, but she is doing the best that she can. Her condition has improved greatly. It was no small accident, she could have easily fell back, but she is showing no complaints or discomfort at all. We are really proud of her.”

Another representative stated, “Goo Hye Sun is back to acting with her passion. You would have never known she was a person who just came out of an accident. She would give her best even if it means she’ll fall apart.”

Before the car accident, Goo Hye Sun also injured her head during a diving scene. At the time she had to come back to filming after one day, despite the hospital’s advice to stay. Outside of these incidents, the representatives revealed that she has sustained many more injuries while doing dangerous action scenes and sports scenes. On one occasion, she injured her leg and could barely move. But she kept her complaints from the representatives and continued with filming.

A representative of one of the F4 members said, “Goo Hye Sun’s devotion to acting really deserves an applause. No matter how cold, or how hard it is, she never leaves the set. She stays near the monitor to watch every aspect.

Another representative said, “It really is heartbreaking to see that because she is surrounded by F4, she is always suffering attacks from antifans. But if they saw her on the set, no one would be able to say those kinds of things about her again.”

“Goo Hye Sun’s savior? I just did what anyone would have done”

Lee Min Ho, who plays Goo Jun Pyo in “Boys Over Flowers”, was very shy about the whole situation with Goo Hye Sun.

Lee Min Ho replied, “As we were moving scenes, I saw that the car Goo Hye Sun was in had gotten into an accident. All I did was stop my car and took anyone that was injured to the hospital.”

At the time, Lee Min Ho had left the first set later than Goo Hye Sun because he had one more scene to shoot. After he saw Goo Hye Sun, he took her to the hospital.

Though he insisted that what he did was not a big deal, he revealed that the accident did not seem minor at all, “The whole front of the car was busted, Goo Hye Sun was in a state of shock and was bleeding a lot because of the tear in her lip area. The two stylists who were in the car with her were crying and also in a state of shock

Kim Hyun Joong to further his studies in America

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong has decided on overseas study in America.
After discussing with his company DSP Media, Kim Hyun Joong has decided to go America to up his capabilities as a singer. DSP has agreed to that but as to when he will be able to go over to America has yet been decided.

DSP said on 25th, “Kim Hyun Joong will go over to America for further studies for about 6 months. But we have not decided on when that will be. It may be after his individual and group activities have ended.”

It is planned that Kim Hyun Joong will study on dance and current top singers’ style in America. Kim Hyun Joong will especially do studies about his role models Justin Timberlake and Usher. Girl to play Ee Jung’s first love finally decided

Past member of the idol girl group sugar, Park Soo Jin and actor Lim Joo Whan will be taking the roles of the past triangle love relationship of So Ee Jung, played by KIMBUM.

Park Soo Jin will be playing the character of So Ee Jung’s first love, Cha Eun Jae for a total of 3 episodes. Her character will explain the reason for KimBum’s negativeness about love and reason for his “playboying” attitude.

In the story Cha Eun Jae who had been friends since kids with Ee Jung was also who had a crush on Ee jung, but ends up dating Ee Jung’s older brother. Ee Jung first love was Cha Eun Jae, but has to bury this fact and lives on still holding his love for Eun Jae showing a different, sweet side of the character. The role Park Soo Jin will be taking will help the relationship between Gaeul and Eejung.

Park Soo Jin said ” it’s still chilly right now, but my heart feels like it’s already warm spring.” and ” I will try my best to allow the viewers to remember the image and memory of how first love was so innocent and filled of happiness. i will do my best to fulfill Eun Jae’s role. ”

And actor Lim Joo Whan will be playing So Il Hyun, Ee jung’s older brother. Joo Whan will play the character who gave up the role of the heirloom to the family fortune to become a local barista at a cafe.

Il Hyun lives with the guilt and resentment towards his younger brother for giving up the burden of running the family fortune. Through episode 17, Il Hyun tells the story of him giving up the heir placement because of Ee Jung’s natural talent and skill for pottery and introduces the burden and pressure EeJung had to live with since young

Lim Joo Whan who is also feeling a another drama, but also agreed to guest appear in BOF episodes.

Lim Joo Whan and Park Soo Jin will be joining the cast this coming March 2nd.

Intense Competition to be Yi Jung’s First Love.

If you have been keeping up with KBS2TV Boys Before Flowers, you would probably have been hoping for more scenes between Yi Jung (Kim Bum) and Gal Eul (Kim So Eun) and most importantly a happy ending for them. But before the rumored happy ending, Yi Jung’s first love which was hinted subtly in episode 13 in a conversation will be making an appearance soon to create sparks between them both. Group Eight had started holding auditions more than a month ago to find the perfect first love for Yi Jung (another classic example of making changes to the script on-the-fly to accomodate us viewers).

Although Group Eight have managed to whittle down the candidates to just 2 girls, it has been difficult to make a final decision as each have their own pros and cons. Because of the fact that Lee Si Young had managed to made a name for herself in the limited amount of episodes with her bad girl role, competition has been intense in the auditions to be Yi Jung’s first love.

Considering the high ratings and popularity of the drama now, Group Eight has to decide carefully for the actress to fit the image of Yi Jung’s first love. Yi Jung’s first love will make her first appearance on 3rd March, next Tuesday in Episode 18. The concept and style of the character has been decided 1, 2 weeks earlier but the girl has yet to be chosen as yet.

Kim Bum expressed, “Am very curious exactly what interesting story surrounds this first love”, while Group Eight said, “There’s only slightly more than a week before episode 18 so we are getting ready to decide on who is going to play Yi Jung’s first love.” Netizens will probably go crazy when the actress name is finally announced, so stay tuned!

Lee Min-ho presented 100 gift sets

Lee Min-ho presented 100 gift sets of healthy, “well-being” (the buzzword in korea) snacks to 100 members of the production crew and staff of the hit drama, “Boys over flowers.” The 22 year old wanted to express his gratitude to the people who have helped him become a hot commodity.

Incidentally, Lee Min-ho is the face of the unidentified “well-being” snacks (we guesstimate as “Dr You” snacks).

Kim So Eun Case Settled

On February 18, Kim So Eun was to report on set at a hotel in Hannam-dong at 2pm. However, as her CF shoot got pushed back, her absence forced filming for BOF to stall as well. She did not show up until approximately 7pm. As the day’s agenda was to film Gu Jun Pyo’s birthday at the hotel, there were 70 extras plus almost 100 crew members who were kept waiting.

Earlier on in the afternoon (before she arrived on set), drama representatives expressed their disapproval quite openly. It was revealed to media outlets that they had already told her representatives she was not permitted to be late due to a CF shoot. A source said that young actors/actresses do not seem to be prioritizing their filming schedules properly.

Originally, Group Eight said that it was considering taking legal action against Kim So Eun. However, the production company and Kim’s agency have settled the issue verbally. A spokesperson for Kim So Eun’s agency said, “It was wrong for her to be late. In an attempt to avoid being so, she began preparation for the CF shoot at 3am. However, the shoot was delayed, [which kept her from leaving]. Fortunately, filming for Boys Over Flowers completed without further problems and everything was resolved with the show’s creators. However, we will ensure that a similar incident does not happen again.”

Kim So Eun was also not the first cast member to be late for a BOF shoot. Due to the popularity of the show, many of its cast members have had many other obligations (interviews, CF shoots, etc.) that have caused them to run late as well. Hence, many have been questioning why Kim So Eun in particular has been so heavily criticized. After all, this was her one and only time being late for filming the show.

An insider at BOF stated that there are several reasons. This week required shooting to recommence on a tight schedule for upcoming episodes (after a brief break for the cast, since a few episodes were previously filmed in Macau). Kim So Eun’s late arrival on this day in particular - when Jun Pyo’s party had to be filmed - cost the company significantly due to hotel rental fees and food expenses as well as staff wages. However, the representative expressed his/her opinion that Kim So Eun’s case was slightly blown up in order to underline the importance of punctuality to the other increasingly tardy cast members.
